Up in Leah's Kitchen

A Tribute to the giant of Creole Cuisine and Culture this commissioned work is 14 x 30 ft and depicts Mrs. Leah Chase in the kitchen of Dooky's Restaurant. Inside the dining room, you can see civil rights leaders who used to meet over meals in the space and artwork by black artists collected by Mrs. Chase herself.
